Back to the bench for Strauss

Waratahs' No.8 Tiaan Strauss has lost his starting spot in the New South Wales team to play the Crusaders in Friday's Super 12 match in Christchurch.

The former Springbok captain has been relegated to the bench today allowing StuPinkerton back in.

He was the second player dropped after the home defeat to a Hurricanes team reduced to 13 men at times last Saturday, joining former Wallaby team mate Tom Bowman.
