Lam a true Brit
January 15, 2001

Northampton Saints skipper Pat Lam has had his application for UK residency
approved.

The Auckland-born 32 year old,who represented Manu Samoa 41 times in a distinguished test career, has lived in England for the past four years.

The ruling means that the much respected back row forward is now
no longer classed as an overseas player by the Rugby Football Union.
