So'oialo replaces De Goldi in 7s

New Zealand Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has confirmed Rodney So'oialo's place in his World Cup squad after Craig De Goldi failed to recover from an arm injury.

"At the end of the day it didn't come down to choosing one player ahead of the other. Craig's arm still isn't 100 percent right so we had to rule him out," Tietjens commented.

"Rod's a strong young guy who is making great strides with his Sevens skills and I'm confident he can take the step up and make a big contribution in Argentina."
