Hurricanes appoint new chief

Wellington Hurricanes have appointed Malcolm Holmes as their new chief executive in place of David White who left last week for the Aukland Rugby Football Union.

Holmes, 36, a Wellington-based businessman takes over a club that has gone from strength to strength over the last four years culminating in the side being crowned the NPC champions last season.
