Craig Dowd dropped by Auckland Blues

Blues Coach Frank Oliver has announced the squad of 22 who will travel to
Sydney on Thursday for the clash against the Waratahs in a round six fixture in Sydney on Saturday evening.

With Nick White fit again after his calf injury and available for selection,there is no place in the squad for 60-test All Black veteran Craig Dowd. Oliver also continues to ignore the claims of New Zealand A and Northland skipper Glenn Taylor , who has not appeared since the first round game against the Highlanders in Dunedin.

The Blues'squad is as follows: Nick White, Paul Thomson, Keven Mealamu, Slade McFarland, David Taumoepeau, Robin Brooke,Troy Flavell, Charles
Riechelmann, Craig Newby, Xavier Rush, Matua Parkinson, Ron Cribb, Steve
Devine, Mark Robinson, Carlos Spencer, Justin Wilson, Craig Innes, Rua Tipoki, Jeremy Stanley, Joeli Vidiri, Doug Howlett, and Orene Ai'i.
