Tune back in contention for Super 12 semi-final

Will Ben Tune play in Saturday's Super 12 semi-final against the Brumbies or not? That's the big question.

Just hours after a Queensland Rugby Union press release confirmed Tune had been ruled out of the game with a shoulder injury, he was named in the Reds squad.

Further tests on the shoulder, injured against the Waratahs last Saturday, suggest he could yet play.

Selectors have not taken any risks by naming a 23-man squad, including wingers Nathan Williams, Junior Pelesasa and Rick Nalatu.

QUEENSLAND (squad): Nick Stiles, Michael Foley, Glenn Panoho, Nathan Sharpe, John Eales, Matt Cockbain, David Croft, Toutai Kefu, Jacob Rauluni, Elton Flatley, Ricky Nalatu, Steve Kefu, Daniel Herbert, Junior Pelesasa, Nathan Williams, Chris Latham, Ben Tune, Sam Cordingley, Shane Drahm, Mark Connors, John Roe, Fletcher Dyson, Sean Hardman (one to be omitted).
