Gregans add to Brumbies fan club

Brumbies captain George Gregan is already celebrating, but it has nothing to do with confidence ahead of Saturday's Super 12 final ... he's just become a dad for the fist time.

Gregan and his wife Erica are celebrating the birth of their son Max in Sydney on Tuesday afternoon.

"It has been a fantastic start to the week and my wife and I are very happy," Gregan told the Canberra Times. "It has been a great pregnancy and hopefully we can finish off the week with a victory on Saturday night.

"I'm absolutely thrilled and over the moon. We are both very very happy and looking forward to our new lives."

The final will be the first time this season that Erica has not watched a game at Bruce Stadium.
