A calf muscle injury to All Black no8 Ron Cribb has ruled him out of Saturday evening's clash between the Wallabies and the New Zealand Maori at the Sydney Football Stadium.

Although being named ahead of Maori skipper Deon Muir in the All Black training squad , which has just finished a five day camp at the Adidas Institute of Sport in Palmerston North, Cribb was seleced by Maori coach Matt Te Pou as one of his subs.

Wellington lock Dion Waller, another who was unlucky to be omitted from the training squad , will take Cribb's place in the Maori squad of 22.
