Pumas name side for New Zealand tour opener

The touring Argentinians have named the following side for the opening game of their four-match tour of New Zealand against Counties-Manukau in Pukekohe on Sunday.

This a very strong-looking side and should not encounter too many difficulties against one of the NPC First Division's weaker teams.

The Pumas play Thames next Tuesday before finishing with a test against the All Blacks in Christchurch and a virtual test against the Maori in Rotorua. The last time they played the All Blacks in New Zealand they took a 90 point hammering and will eager to avoid a repetition of that humiliation.
