Otago clinch semi-final berth

Otago have secured a semi-final spot in this year's NPC after a 28-10 victory over the Wellington Lions at the WestPacTrust Stadium.

Otago led the first half 15 - 0, running in two tries to Ryan Nicholas and Brendan Laney. They stretched their lead in the second-half with a third try run in by Sam Harding.

Tony Brown booted a penalty and a conversion in the first half, and added another 8 points in the second.

Christian Cullen scored the only try for Wellington, with David Holwell booting a penalty and a conversion.
