It's the match that everyone wants ... England v New Zealand.

And All Blacks coach John Mitchell has revealed that a one-off Test could take place in New Zealand next summer.

They have challenged England, conquerors of the World Champions Australia at the weekend, to the showdown that would decide who can rightfully lay claim to being the best team on earth.

The All Blacks will be playing Ireland twice in New Zealand next June and are currently in talks with the RFU for an additional Test against England who are sheduled to be in the south Pacific.

Mitchell said: "There is a window of opportunity in our schedule for a match against England and the matter is being discussed. It is important we are playing the best teams and they are on track as serious contenders for the World Cup."
