Sexton out of retirement to join Ulster
December 5, 2001

Former Canterbury rugby hooker Matt Sexton's retirement has been a very short-lived affair.

Sexton hung up his boots after Canterbury's triumphant NPC campaign, but he has now signed a 2 and a half year playing-coaching contract with the Irish Rugby Union.

Sexton will play for Ulster under former Springbok assistant coach Alan Solomons and former Canterbury selector Adrian Kennedy.
