Blackadder to join Scotland-U21s management

Edinburgh Rugby's former All Black captain Todd Blackadder is to join the Scotland Under-21 management team.

Scotland Under-21 open their shadow Six Nations campaign when they face England at Poynder Park, Kelso on Friday February 1.

Blackadder said: "I'm just really delighted and looking forward to talking with the under-21 co-ordinator Roy Laidlaw and head coach Bob Easson to map out my role."

SRU Director of Rugby Jim Telfer said: "I met with Todd yesterday and I'm very pleased that he will be working with our under-21 team who can only benefit from his vast experience and knowledge."
