Worcester's hopes of handing New Zealand import Greg Rawlinson his Warriors debut tomorrow have been dashed by registration red tape.

Former All Blacks lock Rawlinson had been named on the bench for Worcester's European Challenge Cup clash against Montauban at Sixways.

But a different registration process between domestic and European competitions means Rawlinson's entry will be delayed.

Worcester rugby director Mike Ruddock said: ``We are delighted to have Greg at the club now, and were excited about the possibility of handing him his club debut in the Challenge Cup.

``He was named in good faith, subject to registration and fitness tests.

``It has since come to our attention that while he could have featured in a Guinness Premiership match this weekend, he remains ineligible for Europe.

``However, he will be available for the rest of the European campaign and for the Sale Sharks (Premiership) fixture next Friday.''

Ruddock makes a solitary change from the side that edged past Bucuresti 18-8 in Romania last weekend, handing Netani Talei a start at number eight instead of Kai Horstmann, who is among the replacements.

Bath, fresh from a 28-6 Pool One success away in Auch, are set to hand Springboks World Cup winner Butch James his home debut against Recreation Ground visitors Overmach Parma tomorrow.

James, who scored one try and created another last weekend, said: ``It has all been a bit crazy - finishing the World Cup, getting myself packed up and finally heading over to Bath.

``It was good to get into things nice and early last week, and scoring a try - I don't score many of those - was really great.

``I know last year Bath made it to the Challenge Cup final, and that is certainly an aim for us again this year.''

Sale Sharks, fresh from officially welcoming All Blacks World Cup recruit Luke McAlister to Edgeley Park, visit Padova in Pool Four tomorrow, while Pool Five challengers Leeds are in Dax tonight.

Other games see Connacht entertaining Cetransa El Salvador tonight, with Albi hosting Auch tomorrow, when GRAN Parma entertain Bucuresti, Bayonne visit Montpellier and Calvisano travel to Castres.
