Toulouse are facing a fly-half crisis for the European Champions Cup visit of Glasgow this weekend as both their top two choices in the position, Toby Flood and Luke McAlister, were ruled out with injury.

New Zealander McAlister will be out of action for between a fortnight and a month with the calf tear that forced his late withdrawal from Saturday's game against Grenoble. Flood stepped in for that game but had been struggling with an abductor problem and was unable to kick at goal.

Coach Guy Novès confirmed that Flood had not recovered fully and would not be available to take on Glasgow. Ity is likely that Jean-Marc Doussain will move from scrum-half to Np.10 or Sébastien Bezy will step in, although he is also recovering from a knock.

Toulouse are also without lock Patricio Albacete, while back row Imanol Harinordoquy faces a race to be fit.

Toulouse and Glasgow are the two unbeaten teams in Pool 4 and face each other home and away over the next fortnight in clashes that are likely to decide who advances to the knock-out stages.
