Daegu disappointment made me stronger - Ennis

Jessica Ennis believes her World Championships disappointment was a necessary evil ahead of a tilt at heptathlon gold at London 2012.
Ennis was forced to settle for a silver medal in Daegu during August, finishing 129 points adrift of Russian winner Tatyana Chernova. The Brit ran a personal best in the final event - the 800m - to cross the line ahead of Chernova, but was made to pay for a highly disappointing javelin effort of 39.95m.
Nonetheless, Ennis is taking heart from the fact she shrugged off the javelin heartache to perform so commendably in the 800m.
"It was a completely different championships, something I haven't experienced before, so it was good to go through that big low and pick myself up again," Ennis told Sky Sports. "I am stronger and have that little bit more belief in myself that I can pull out good performances after bad ones."
