Chambers set for stint in Jamaica

Dwain Chambers' participation at London 2012 hinges on a court ruling, but he is limbering up for a potential appearance in his home Olympics by heading to Jamaica for a training stint.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport is set to give its verdict in the next three weeks on whether Chambers' current lifetime ban from the Olympics due to a British Olympic Association bylaw is enforceable.
Chambers has said he is not being distracted by the case, but he is clearly planning for a big year and he has been invited to train alongside former 100m world record holder Asafa Powell.
The invitation from Powell's coach Stephen Francis came as a surprise, but it is one Chambers had no intention of turning down.
"This was not something that was planned but we talked about it thoroughly and I took the view that the only way Dwain can prepare himself properly to race against these guys is to train with them," Chambers' agent Siza Agha said.
"One of the shortcomings in Dwain's preparation is that he's been unable to be around the best athletes and when the opportunity arose to train with Asafa, Michael Frater and Nesta Carter, it was an absolute no-brainer."
