Trapped American bobsledder smashes jammed door

American bobsledder Johnny Quinn was forced to smash through his bathroom door in the athletes' village after it was jammed.

The incident occurred on the opening day of the Sochi Winter Olympics, and Quinn was trapped in his room having taken a shower. He was unable to call for assistance, so was forced to break smash through, and tweeted:

...With no phone to call for help, I used my bobsled push training to break out. #SochiJailBreak pic.twitter.com/apZRefgvCO

Meanwhile, Great Britain bobsledder Bex Wilson revealed there was an open lift shaft when she left her room.
