- London Olympics 2012
Olympic tickets dates revealed

Spectators wanting tickets for events at the 2012 Olympic Games will have six weeks to submit their applications when the process gets underway in mid-March.
With tickets not being offered on a first come, first served basis, members of the public will be able to complete their applications for tickets to events between March 15 and April 26. Over-subscribed events will then be subject to a ballot, with the lucky recipients subsequently informed and given the chance to purchase their tickets.
"On 15 March, the application process opens to be part of the greatest show on earth," London 2012 chairman Lord Sebastien Coe said. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the world's greatest athletes going for gold in the UK - a chance for people to see their favourite sport and perhaps try a new one.
"Our message today is simple - mark the date in your diary and sign up to our ticketing site at www.tickets.london2012.com to receive all the information you need to help you with the process."
Over two million people have already signed up at the Olympics' ticketing site. Tickets for the 2012 London Paralympics go on sale on September 9, with prices revealed in May.
