Profile

Dunning has been a relative mainstay in the Wallabies front row since making his debut in the record 142-0 thrashing of Namibia in the 2003 World Cup.

The prop has also featured in the NSW Waratahs team for the best part of a decade, amassing a huge total of Super Rugby appearances in the process.

A player with Sydney's Eastwood in club rugby, Dunning is well known for his infamous accidental drop-goal while playing for the Waratahs in 2003.

With the Waratahs needing a try to earn a bonus point that would take them to the finals, Dunning kicked for goal knowing a miss would make the referee blow for a penalty that he was currently playing advantage for. Not knowing his own skill, Dunning landed the three-pointer, denying his team the opportunity to go for a try and costing them a finals berth.
