Highlanders lock James Ryan will undergo a scan of his knee tomorrow to determine the extent of the injury he suffered in the match against the Chiefs on Saturday, a team spokesman said today. All Black Ryan was stretchered off after seven minutes clutching his left knee and in his absence, the Highlanders lost 34-38 to the Chiefs. Fellow All Black lock, Chris Jack, is also out for the rest of the Super 14 season after incurring a torn hamstring in the Crusaders' match against the Waratahs on March 31. |
