Fabio Gaetaniello is a former Italian international who won 30 caps for his country and scored five tries. He made his debut against Spain in 1980 and retired after Italy were knocked out of the 1991 Rugby World Cup, playing his final match at Welford Road in Leicester against New Zealand.

A centre, he played his club rugby with Livorno who he has coached before coaching the Italian Sevens team.
