- Dragons wing Aled Brew's hopes of making Wales' summer tour squad are in the balance after he picked up an ankle injury in their Magners League victory over the Ospreys.
The 23-year-old has been in strong form and with Leigh Halfpenny unlikely to tour due to shoulder surgery was in the frame to add to his three caps. The injury has proven to be more serious than originally thought and will also likely rule him out of the Dragons' race for a Heineken Cup spot.
"We are waiting for more info, but it could be long term," Dragons coach Paul Turner told the South Wales Argus.
- Former Japan flanker Yasunori Watanabe has died aged 35 after being hit by a train. He fell from a platform at Kamakura, south of Tokyo, on Saturday night. Watanabe won 34 caps for Japan and played at three World Cups between 1999 and 2007.
