Samoa are without a number of their top players for Saturday's Test against Ireland in Dublin.

Alesana Tuilagi did not travel to Europe with Samoa and Maurie Fa'asavalu, Gavin Williams, David Lemi, Daniel Leo and Census Johnston are all sidelined. With Johnston out, Leicester's Logovi'i Mulipola fills in at tight-head with Census' brother James providing cover from the bench.

Kahn Fotuali'i will lead at Samoa in what promises to be an emotional occasion for the Islanders after the death of Samoa legend Peter Fatialofa this week.

"We will be dedicating the game on Saturday to Peter's work not only for Samoa but rugby," said Samoa manager Sami Leota. He added: "We aren't here to make up the numbers but to give it our best."

Samoa:

Faatoina Autagavaia, Alapati Leuia, George Pisi, Johnny Leota, Brando Vaaulu, Tusi Pisi, Kahn Fotuali'i; Sakaria Taulafo, Ole Avei, Logovi'i Mulipola, Faatiga Lemalu, Teofilo Paulo, Ofisa Treviranus, Jack Lam, Taiasina Tuifua

Replacements: Tii Paulo, Viliamu Afatia, James Johnston, Joe Tekori, Alafoti Faosilivia, Jeremy Sua, Isaia Tuifua, Fautua Otto.
