Michael Hooper and Will Skelton received Greg Growden's highest praise this week after they led their New South Wales Waratahs side to their first win over the Bulls in nine years. Crashing through the huge Bulls defence, Skelton was impressive and received 7.5 points, while Hooper made several quick darts around the park and was instrumental in the side's win.

Several other Waratahs players received high praise with Bernard Foley, Kane Douglas and Adam Ashley-Cooper impressing throughout the match, however Israel Folau received no points for his opening-minute try, nor did Kurtley Beale for his strong first-half performance.

The Melbourne Rebels stunned the Force, ending the Force's five-match winning streak. Jason Woodward played a huge role in the Rebels' win, using his boot to keep them ahead and received seven points for his efforts, while Scott Higginbotham and Shota Horie also received seven points for their impact around the park. Luke Jones continued to impress, making a claim for a Wallabies call-up, making 16 runs throughout the match. Kyle Godwin was the only Force player to receive points this week, after his impressive performance in the centres.
