The one-off Test between the USA and New Zealand is on course to sell out, with 40,000 tickets already sold for the November clash in Chicago.
It will be the first match between the two sides on American soil since 1980 and organisers are predicting a record crowd for a rugby match in the United States. The two teams will meet on November 1 at the 61,000 capacity Soldier Field, home of NFL-side the Chicago Bears.
New Zealand Rugby chief executive Steve Tew told Radio New Zealand that nearly 40,000 tickets have been sold to rugby fans outside Chicago since June 16, with sales to supporters within the city due to start soon.
