Toulouse prop Census Johnston has seemingly performed a U-turn on his decision to retire from international rugby after he was named in Samoa's squad for their historic Test against New Zealand on July 8.

Johnston retired from rugby in April with reports suggesting he came to the decision to safeguard his Toulouse future but he was one of four props named in the 27-man Samoa squad for their Test in Apia.

He is included alongside Chiefs' back Tim Nanai Williams who will make his Samoa debut if named against the All Blacks while established Aviva Premiership players Kane Thompson, Alafoti Faosiliva, TJ Ioane, Kahn Fotuali'I, Ken Pisi, Alesana Tuilagi and Johnny Leota. London Irish's Ofisa Treviranus captains the side.
