Llanelli pair suspended

Llanelli have suspended two first team squad members following an off the field incident.

The alleged incident took place on Saturday and involved former Saracens flanker Alex Bennett and prop Martyn Madden.

The club has refused to disclose the nature of the incident, only saying that it was "being dealt with internally by the club." The Scarlets spokesman added that "no further statement will be issued until the results of the investigation are known."
