Gustard loaned to Exiles

Leicester flanker Paul Gustard has joined the Tigers' Zurich Premiership rivals London Irish on loan until the end of this season.

The 25-year-old, who made his Leicester debut in 1997, has started just five games for the league champions this season.

"Paul and I realise that he needs to play more matches, and we have decided that a loan period at London Irish will be in everybody's best interests," said Leicester rugby director Dean Richards.

"We will review the situation at the end of the season."
