Little returns for Shoguns
May 3, 2002

Bristol Shoguns welcome back captain Jason Little for the visit of Zurich Premiership champions, Leicester Tigers on Sunday at the Memorial Stadium.

Little missed the Shoguns' last Zurich Premiership outing against Gloucester through injury. Garath Archer and Andrew Higgins, who also missed the West Country derby, rejoin the double World Cup winner in the squad for the visit of the Tigers.

Both Little and Higgins will be keen to rejoin the Shoguns back line which has also seen the return of former England 'A' full back, Lee Best, in recent weeks.

In the last three home games at the Memorial Stadium, Bristol Shoguns have scored 116 points, including 40 in the narrow defeat to Gloucester two weeks ago. The supporters at the Memorial Stadium have witnessed some superb rugby this season, with the Bristol side standing top of the table on bonus points with 11 in total this campaign.

Shoguns fans will be looking forward to another game with a great atmosphere when the Tigers visit on Sunday and all seats in the Centenary, West and South Stands have sold out. Standing tickets are still available, although fans are advised to buy them in advance.

Absentees from the Shoguns squad include Paul Johnstone and Shane Drahm who both picked up medial ligament damage in the West Country derby against Gloucester. Argentine international prop, Emiliano Bergamaschi continues to miss out with a muscle injury.
