Marinos set to face Boks
June 5, 2002

Wales have received a timely boost ahead of their clash with South Africa on Saturday with the news that centre Andy Marinos has recovered from injury.

Marinos, who limped out of last week's defeat to the Barbarians in Cardiff, has passed a fitness test and will be available for the clash with the Boks in Bloemfontein.

"We will monitor his progress over the next couple of days. At the moment it looks as though we have a full squad from which to choose," Wales team manager Alan Phillips told the official Welsh Rugby Union website.

"The boys have worked hard over the past couple of days and though we understand the enormity of the task ahead, we are looking forward to pitching in against them on Saturday."

Elsewhere, squad memeber Jamie Robinson is once again fit after recovering from a virus that caused him to lose over a stone in weight.
