If you've ever harboured a secret desire to play the game we love against the opposite sex with nothing but the ball to hide your embarrassment then this might be just the thing for you!

Naked male and female rugby players are wanted to take on their Irish counterparts in the build-up to Ireland's Test clash with the All Blacks in Dundedin this weekend.

Some Irish backpackers are challenging seven kiwi blokes and girls to take them on in a nude touch sevens match at Dunedin's St Clair beach next Saturday.

Organiser and Bottom Bus Tours manager Ralph Davies says the international nude touch game will be a fun warm-up for next Saturday's Test match.

He believes students in Dunedin will be up to the challenge but is willing to welcome anyone to join in.

To sign up for the New Zealand team players have to register at the Gardens Tavern in Dunedin.
