Tune raring to go

Queensland Reds winger Ben Tune has said he is confident he is fit enough to get through Saturday night's Super 12 opener against the ACT Brumbies.

Tune, who badly tore his hamstring while playing for the Wallabies in Argentina in November told the Courier-Mail that while he is not fully prepared for the match, he needs the hit out if he is going to be among the mix for a World Cup spot later in the year.

"I'm underdone with no trial time but I'll be going as hard and as long as I can," Tune said.
