Japan and the USA will complete their two-Test series on Saturday when the Cherry Blossoms play host to the Eagles at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground in Tokyo.

Victory for the hosts will see them complete a 2-0 series triumph having recorded a 29-19 victory in their opening clash in Nagoya last weekend. That success was just the fourth time Japan had beaten the Eagles in 17 matches.

The two countries first clashed in 1985 when the United States edged home by a point and they have since recorded 12 victories in over Japan with one match drawn - a 9-9 encounter in 1986.

Last weekend's hard-fought triumph ended a three-match losing streak against the Eagles. The sides have also met twice in Rugby World Cup - the USA winning on both occasion. They recorded a 21-18 victory at Ballymore at RWC'87 and also a 39-26 win at the North Power Stadium in Gosford during RWC'03.
