Rugby is in Williams' blood with his father Brynmor having turned out for the national side in the past. And Williams followed in his father's footsteps playing against Argentina on August 20 and earning his first national cap in the process.
Williams took his bow for the Cardiff Blues during the 2010-11 season and impressed enough to be considered for the national squad. Having pulled on the Welsh jerseys at Under 20 level and for the Sevens team, Williams was named in the 30-man squad for the 2011 World Cup.
His participation was from the bench but he managed to cross the line twice for Wales with scores against Namibia and Fiji. And in the victorious 2012 Six Nations Grand Slam campaign, Williams came off the bench twice for Wales.
