Bath's Matt Banahan will undergo a knee scan after he limped off towards the end of Bath's 30-23 win at home to London Wasps.

In the first half the centre ran in Bath's first try of three and appeared comfortable in the unfamiliar inside-centre role between Olly Barkley and Dan Hipkiss. He also showed a new-found kicking game on occasions to relieve the pressure when Wasps were on the attack. He later left the Recreation Ground in a knee brace.

"Matt has damaged his knee and we will know more about it in the next 48 hours," skills coach Brad Davis said. "He will go to have a scan and we will wait and see what the results are, but he has been put in a brace."
