Nick Kennedy out until November

Harlequins will be without new recruit Nick Kennedy until November due to a knee injury.

Kennedy joined Quins in the summer from Toulon but he will have to wait for his debut. Quins are also without lock Charlie Matthews for the same duration meaning Conor O'Shea has brought in academy second-row George Merrick for the Aviva Premiership opener against Wasps on Saturday.

In further injury news, Tom Williams and Sam Smith are both out with short term injuries while Ollie Lindsay-Hague is also sidelined with a shoulder injury and will look to return in December. Ross Chisholm looks set to miss the season with the knee injury he picked up playing in the JP Morgan Premiership Sevens.
