  • Gloucester have signed Wasps winger Tom Voyce in a deal that will start in July of this year. Voyce joins the Guinness Premiership title-chasers after making over 170 appearances for Wasps, winning both the Premiership and Heineken Cup in the process.

Voyce, who has 9 caps for England, joined Wasps from Bath in 2003 and now returns to the West Country with the Cherry and Whites. He becomes the latest signing for the club, who recently closed a deal to sign Cardiff Blues fly-half Nick Robinson.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be joining Gloucester," he told the club's website. "This move has come at exactly the right time for me in my career. I see this as a chance to join a club that is on the brink of something very special. I have huge ambitions to be successful with Gloucester and hopefully one day play for England again."

  • Sale skipper Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe has become the latest player to leave the club. Argentina international Lobbe will leave at the end of the current season to take up an as-yet unconfirmed position in France.

"Juan has decided to take up a new challenge in France, but he leaves with our good wishes and he desperately wants to win something with Sale Sharks before he leaves," said director of rugby Kingsley Jones. "We have done everything we possibly can to keep Juan at the club but we can't compete with the market in France where there is no salary cap."

Lobbe may join hooker Sebatien Bruno in following outgoing director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre to Toulon. The Sharks are also set to lose Sebastien Chabal, Jason White, Luke McAlister and Lionel Faure at the end of the season.

  • Bath's Matt Banahan and Saracens' Kris Chesney have both been cited following the latest round of Guinness Premiership action.

Banahan has been cited for an alleged body-check on Saracens' Adam Powell during the match at Vicarage Road last Sunday. Chesney will also appear after being cited for punching Bath's Alex Crockett during the same game, an offence for which he was yellow carded by referee Chris White. The duo will face the judiciary on Monday, March 23.

  • French Top 14 side Brive have shown the door to a host of overseas talent. Fiji winger Norman Ligairi, English centre Ben Johnston, Wales's Barry Davies, Romania's Alex Manta and Sukanaivalu Hufanga of Tonga have all been told that they have no future at the club, who recently announced the signing of England centre Riki Flutey on a two year deal and count England fly-half Andy Goode and hooker Steve Thompson among their playing staff. Former England wing Ben Cohen is also leaving the club, announcing earlier this week that he would join Sale Sharks next season.

  • Bulls flanker Deon Stegmann and Hurricanes lock Jason Eaton have both been cited following their Super 14 game in Wellington on Friday.

Stegmann, who was sent off after receiving a second yellow card for a dangerous tackle on Hurricanes centre Conrad Smith, will appear before SANZAR Judicial Officer Peter Hobbs on Saturday 21 March, with Eaton also due before Hobbs after being sin-binned for rucking Bakkie Botha. Both hearings will take place at the NZRU's Wellington offices.

  • Waratahs captain Phil Waugh has denied reports he has signed for Magners League side Scarlets.

The 29-year-old Wallabies flanker, who is out of contract at the end of the season, insists negotiations regarding his future are on-going. "We're just trying to work out my future at the moment so that's not the case," Waugh told AAP.

  • Bristol have announced that assistant coach John Brain has extended his contract by a year.

Head Coach Paul Hull said, "I'm absolutely delighted that he'll continue to be at my side next season." Brain added, "Paul and I have spoken a lot over the past couple of weeks about the future for Bristol Rugby and I'm extremely happy with the direction that the club is heading in and to commit myself to the cause."

Hull has also revealed his first signing for next season with the capture of highly rated centre Jack Adams from Gloucester.

  • Newcastle prop Jon Golding will be packing down with the Falcons for at least the next two years, after pledging his future to the North-East club.
