Exeter Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Brumbies forward Peter Kimlin on a three-month deal. The two-times-capped Wallaby has made the trip north in order to gain valuable game-time prior to next year's Super Rugby season and his bid for a spot in Australia's Rugby World Cup squad, having missed a year of action with nerve damage to his shoulder. Kimlin is a versatile addition to the Chiefs squad and will provide added quality as they seek to secure their Aviva Premiership survival. "I don't mind playing six or in the second-row," Kimlin said. "I can even play at eight as well, so I'm pretty easy as to where I play. I just like to get my hands on the ball and play some rugby. "Obviously my drive is to be in the World Cup. The injury I had didn't help me, but the coaches told me to keep going, play some football and just get back out there. Coming to Exeter is a great way for me to show the people back home and the people over here that I'm back to my best." © ESPN Sports Media Ltd.
