Northampton Saints' potentailly explosive Aviva Premiership clash with Leicester Tigers will be broadcast live on ESPN, it was confirmed on Monday.

The match-up at Franklin's Gardens on April 14 is the stand out fixture in the latest list of games to be aired live on television, following the volatile meeting between the midlands rivals at Welford Road in December. Tigers winger Alesana Tuilagi and Saints flanker Tom Wood were both sent-off following a mass brawl, which was sparked by Saints winger Chris Ashton.

The England winger was later banned for dragging Tuilagi into touch by his hair - the second time he had clashed with one of the Tuilagi borthers following his bust-up with Manu Tuilagi in the Premiership semi-final last May.

Other fixtures in front of the cameras include Premiership leaders Harlequins taking their title bid to Bath at the Stoop on March 24. On the same London Irish and Leicester go head-to-head at the Madejski stadium with both clubs likely to be gunning for a place in the play-offs.

The following weekend Northampton Saints - who will be bolstered by the return of their considerable Enlgand contingent following the culmination of the Six Nations - travel to the Rec to face Bath. And on April 14following the Saints' clash with Leicester, London Wasps travel to Harlequins.

"The big matches just seem to keep on coming in Aviva Premiership Rugby and this set of games is no exception," said Premiership Rugby chief executive Mark McCafferty. "In Aviva Premiership Rugby we have some of the biggest rivalries in world rugby and this has been reflected in some impressive attendance figures this season."
