Leicester Tigers wing Niall Morris has called on his teams' fans to roar them to victory in a winner-takes-all Heineken Cup match against Toulouse on Sunday.

The teams have six Heineken Cup wins between them, but only one of them can progress from Pool 2. Toulouse currently lead Leicester by two points, which means that Richard Cockerill's team will need to be at their very best if they want to reach the knockout stages.

In their favour though is their unbeaten home Heineken Cup record that stretches back 21 matches, a run that dates from October 2006. With a 24,000 sell-out guaranteed, Morris is hopeful that the Tigers fans can make life uncomfortable for the French side off the field, while they make it uncomfortable for them on the pitch.

"Hopefully, the crowd will get behind us and give us that lift on the big occasion. Especially against Toulouse, who are an awesome side, because we will need it," Morris told The Leicester Mercury. "We have been away for the last two weeks and we are looking forward to getting home and having a good crack at them.

"We will need to work really hard. We have to really graft in defence and attack, and take any opportunities that come our way to try to put Toulouse under as much pressure as possible."

Morris has been one of the mainstays in Cockerill's team this season and has played 14 times. He was on the score-sheet in their 15-15 draw with the Ospreys in the last round of matches. Such form has allowed him to establish himself as the first choice wing despite there being competition from Scott Hamilton, Adam Thompstone and Niki Goneva.

"It's great to have the opportunity to play in these big Heineken Cup games," Morris said. "I didn't do much with the try; I just caught it and put it down. I have played four games so far this season in the competition, and I have really enjoyed it. I just want to be on the right side of the scoreboard this weekend."
