Gloucester have appointed academy manager Andrew Stanley, who made almost 200 appearances for the club, as their new forwards coach, replacing Carl Hogg who has become head coach at Worcester Warriors.

"Andrew has impressed everyone at the club over the past 12 months with his rugby knowledge and also his strong work ethic," Gloucester director of rugby Nigel Davies said. "He very quickly earned everyone's respect when he joined us last summer. He's Gloucester through and through, totally buys into what we're trying to achieve and is completely committed to doing what's best for the club."
