Saracens prop Rhys Gill has been suspended for three weeks for his tip tackle on George Lowe during the Aviva Premiership match with Harlequins.

The Rugby Football Union announced the Welshman pleaded guilty to "the charge of dangerous tackling contrary to Law 10.4(J)" at a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.

Gill was sent off during the second half of the match at the weekend for his tackle on Lowe.

The 29-year-old, who was also ordered to pay £500 towards the hearing costs, is free to play again on Feb. 2. The cases against Gill's team-mate James Horwill and Dave Ward at Harlequins were dismissed.
