New Zealand Maori lock Kristian Ormsby has been called into the Junior All Blacks rugby squad for the Pacific Nations Cup.

The vacancy was created after locks Ross Filipo and Greg Rawlinson were asked to join the All Blacks in the wake of injuries to Ali Williams and Keith Robinson.

Williams fractured his jaw in a collision during the second test against France in Wellington last Saturday and Robinson injured his calf muscle during warm-up for the match.

The Juniors squad have also been strengthened with the inclusion of loose forward Sione Lauaki, who has recovered from knee surgery.

Tom Donnelly, who originally joined the Juniors as a replacement for injured lock, Hoani MacDonald, stays with the squad.

Wing Rico Gear has been called into the All Blacks, who play Canada in a one-off test in Hamilton on Saturday.

Corey Flynn, who missed the first three Pacific Nations Cup matches against Samoa, Fiji and Tonga because of parental leave, has returned to the squad.

Ma'a Nonu has rejoined the Junior All Blacks after covering for Conrad Smith in the All Blacks.

The Junior All Blacks play Australia A in Dunedin on Saturday.
