Bath Rugby have announced local company Novia Financial as their new main partner on a two-year deal.

The wealth management service company will be Bath's shirt sponsors for the next two seasons while also taking over the sponsorship for the Recreation Ground's East Stand. The East Stand will now be referred to as 'The Novia Stand,' with Novia taking over from previous sponsors, local business, IPL. IPL are still involved with the club but in a business partner capacity.

Bath have a history of linking up with local businesses, with IPL being shirt sponsors for the past two seasons and local cider manufacturers Blackthorn previously holding the prominent position. Bath, under the stewardship of Bruce Craig, have recently moved into their new home in Farleigh House and are delighted with the new partnership.

"The club is very excited about this new partnership with Novia, and look forward to developing a strong and successful working relationship with them," Bath Rugby's CEO Nick Blofeld said. "It is vitally important to us as a club to develop links with local businesses, as well as the wider community, so we are delighted to welcome Novia Financial on board."

Novia CEO, Bill Vasilieff, commented "We are thrilled to be developing this relationship with Bath Rugby at such a pivotal time in the club's history. The tremendous developments both on and off the pitch at the club point to a really exciting future, and we cannot wait to be part of that."
