Gloucester head coach Bryan Redpath has no intention of discussing the Rugby World Cup with Mike Tindall ahead of the England centre's return to club duty this weekend.

Tindall, who recently married the Queen's granddaughter, Zara Phillips, repeatedly found himself in headlines for all the wrong reasons in New Zealand after CCTV footage emerged of him with a mystery blonde during a night out with team-mates.

The controversy, which rumbled on for weeks, clearly took its toll on Tindall, who did not even come close to producing his best form during the tournament. However, Redpath insists he has no interest in bringing the World Cup up with Tindall or indeed any member of his international contingent.

"My only concern is Gloucester Rugby Club and if the [England] boys show me they want to put everything into this club, that's good enough for me," he told The Telegraph.

"I will tell all the boys that the kit bag they have had open for the past few weeks is now closed. There is no point in discussing stuff that went on in New Zealand. That's all water under the bridge. I'm not interested in that.

"Having said that, I have always said to the players, that if they need a shoulder on which to discuss matters, my door is always open. But as I say, the bottom line is that they move on from here and forget what has gone on during the summer and at the World Cup."

Samoan international Eliota Fuimaono-Sapulo also created controversy during the World Cup with with inflammatory comments he made about the International Rugby Board and referee Nigel Owens. The centre was subsequently hit with a six-month suspended ban but Redpath has no plans to warn the centre about his future behaviour.

"Eliota is someone who is brutally honest and I am like that with him," he said. "I got a lot out of him last year so why would I change my manner and approach, just because of what went on in New Zealand? The IRB have dealt with that, so I don't need to mention it."
