England duo Toby Flood and Manu Tuilagi will take further strides towards international returns when they start for Leicester Tigers against Exeter Chiefs this weekend.

Flood came through half an hour of Leicester's win over Newcastle last weekend and took part in training with England earlier this week, following his recovery from a knee injury.

Tuilagi is included in the Tigers' squad for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in their victory over Worcester at the end of December.

If both players come through the Aviva Premiership clash at Sandy Park this Saturday, they could be in line to feature in England's third Six Nations clash, against Wales at Twickenham on February 25.

Director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: "It's good to have Toby and Manu back to fitness. This is an important phase of the season for us. We've been in good form and we obviously need to maintain that."
