Edinburgh will face Gloucester in the final of the European Rugby Challenge Cup on May 1.

The match will take place at the Twickenham Stoop with both teams vying for a welcome piece of silverware. For Gloucester, they took the LV=Cup in 2011 and won the previous incarnation of the Challenge Cup in 2006. They saw off Exeter on Saturday evening to book their place in the final but David Humphreys is wary of the threat Alan Solomons' side will pose.

"Edinburgh were very impressive last night in defeating the Dragons. It's the best I've seen them play all season," Humphreys said on Saturday. "To be in the final is massive for both clubs and gives us an opportunity to take something out of our season."

For Edinburgh, they stunned London Irish in the quarters and then hammered the Dragons in the final four on Friday evening. Their European pedigree is limited to a Heineken Cup semi-final appearance in 2012.
