Top 14 side Brive have confirmed the capture of Northampton Saints fly-half Shane Geraghty.

The 24-year-old, who has won six caps for England, was one of three signings confirmed at a press conference on Friday with French winger Jacques Boussuge joining from Bath and Georgian hooker Irakli Natriashvili making the switch from national league side Saint-Junien.

Geraghty, who appeared as a replacement during Northampton's dramatic Heineken Cup defeat to Leinster on Saturday, has struggled for game time since joining the club from Premiership rivals London Irish in 2009 with Stephen Myler the preferred No.10. His departure from Franklin's Gardens was expected with Bayonne also reportedly chasing his services.

"What a 24 hours it has been," Geraghty wrote on Twitter. "Thanks for all the support, not just yesterday but for the past two years. It's been emotional and somewhat of a rollercoaster ride. Au revoir!"

Brive finished 12th in this season's Top 14 and were beaten by Munster in the quarter-finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup. The latest additions to their squad follow the signing of Biarritz's Yann Fior, Arnaud Mignardi and Alexandre Barozzi, Colomiers' Olivier Caisso, Aurillac's Petrus Hauman, former Queensland Reds forward Tasi Luafutu and Toulouse's Virgile Lacombe.
