Saracens have secured the futures of young England hopefuls James Short and Jackson Wray.

The former England under-20s internationals are the latest players to agreed new contract extensions with the Aviva Premiership champions. They follow the likes of Owen Farrell, Schalk Brits and Matt Stevens in re-signing with Sarries.

Short, 22, has made a huge impact for Sarries this season, which has led to suggestions of a full England call-up in the near future. While Wray, 21, has become an increasingly important first-team player.

"Saracens provide an exceptional environment for a rugby player. The quality of coaching, the strength of the squad and the general mood are all special."

Sarries director of rugby Mark McCall added: "James has made fantastic progress over the past couple of season to the point where he is widely admired across the Premiership. We believe he will continue to improve and are all delighted he has agreed a new contract."

Meanwhile Wray said: "As a young player, you want to be playing at a top club with a great environment. For me, Saracens is the place to be."
